Bio
No, I'm not Natalie Portman (although I'm an unabashed fan despite her dubious performances in Star Wars Episodes II and III), but I sure want those elephantine headphones she's wearing. They remind me of the headphones voice actors wear in recording booths.... ;]

...Who are you?
Hola! I'm Seiyuu (it means voice actor/actress in Japanese), an admin of The Prancing Pony, a forum for roleplayers. (We'll get to that later.) I'm a nice sort of person (or at least, I'm not intentionally malicious), so feel free to ask any questions you might have about roleplaying, LiveJournal, school, life, etc. If you're courteous and I'm not extremely overloaded with work at that moment, I'll be open to almost anything except for personal questions.
Why do you have an on-line journal?
Honestly? It began because I wanted a way to remark on my friends' journals without having to leave anonymous comments. The security of anonymity is attractive, but if I have to resort to using such a shield, then there's not much point in posting a comment of that particular nature, is there? Anyway, I now use this journal mainly for fandom rants/memes, and commentaries on school, society, and life in general. I don't usually make posts about my private life, so if you were interested, sorry to disappoint.
So, what is this "prancing pony" thing you mentioned? (Because that sounds really queer.)
Other than being a high-spirited equine and the name of a tavern in Lord of the Rings, The Prancing Pony is a new club for roleplaying games of every kind (Dungeons & Dragons, online RPs) at the school I attend, so you're welcome to join if you're a schoolmate of mine. We're focusing mainly on books that are in our literature curriculum at the moment, in order to gain an educational appeal. If you're not a schoolmate, never fear, you may still join the large-scale roleplays hosted outside of the main forums. There's a pirate one, I hear. ;D
